Can a family be more beautiful? Yes, they all are on the outside, but I found out they are on the inside too.
I love active and sweet little boys like this little guy. He was a little shy at the beginning, and I make sure I don’t get into children’s spaces until they are ready. Whenever there is a pet, I play with the pet first. As soon as this little guy realized I wanted him to ham it up a little, he got nice and silly for me. My son is bigger than I am now, but I still remember being able to fold up his tiny little body up in my arms. I can’t believe he is driving, has a job, and will graduate soon! I miss those days of cuddling, playing and sweetness.
His sister is one of the most curious and precious little princesses I have met. She crawled straight to me as soon as she saw a new fun toy – my camera :). She wanted to get right into the thick of things and do everything her brother was doing. She is going to live life to the full!
And their sweet, little dog. She is friendly and quiet and totally beloved.
I wanted to capture all that in their photos – not perfectly posed, but real connection and affection…telling the story of their real life right now. And this family is loving, fun, and beautiful!
This mom did such a wonderful job coordinating outfits and preparing everyone for their big day. You can see they aren’t focused on matching; instead, they coordinate so beautifully together.
I met this family for the first time on the day I photographed them, but I could instantly see the love and sweetness between them. This is one of the perks of my job – I get to meet beautiful, wonderful families like this!
